Four simple steps to creating your story:
Your story will be written in first-person (I/me/we) and will therefore read as though you have put pen to paper yourself. It is your story, after all. Third-person writing (he/she/they) available upon request.
*We are sorry that we cannot see you face-to-face for the time being due to the coronavirus pandemic. Rest assured we can easily capture people’s stories through virtual meetings and phone calls.

During the planning session, we will discuss what type of document you want to be developed - Legacy Document, Personal Biography, or Memoir - and what outcomes and goals you want to achieve through this document. We will then schedule an interview to create the framework and details of your document.
Be advised at all interviews will be recorded for content accuracy.
All Legacy, Biography, and Memoir documents prepared by Silver Quill Legacies can only be successful through the cooperation and preparation of the client.
Following an initial complimentary consultation, a scope of work letter will be prepared to confirm direction, intent, and concept. Upon its acceptance, interview dates and times will be scheduled.
Clients will receive a draft copy of the story approximately seven days after each interview session. Invoicing will be provided at that time. Be advised that the initial document is a draft only, and subject to additional edit requests by the customer, and completed by Silver Quill Legacies.
There are no additional charges for editing.
All interviews will be recorded and conducted by phone or Virtual Meeting (Zoom preferred.)
At the client's request, Silver Quill Legacies can arrange to have the final version printed in a variety of formats for display or gifts.
